The problem
Service business owners know they should post after jobs and ask happy customers for reviews. The moment to do it is right after the job, when they're loading the van or driving to the next one, so it doesn't happen.
They don't need another app to log into. They already text all day.
The name
Compa means buddy. In Mexican Spanish it's short for compadre, a trusted friend, and in Italian-American speech cumpà means the same thing. My parents are from Sturno, a small town in Avellino, so the word came with the family.
The identity
The wordmark is built on Nunito Black, with the "o" turned into a speech bubble. The colors are named after things you see on a job site.
60 cream, 30 navy, 10 orange
The product
The owner texts a photo and a couple of words. Compa sends back the post for Google and Instagram, and after a yes, offers a review request for that customer.
- Nothing goes public without a yesEvery draft waits for the owner's approval.
- No app, no loginSetup is a three-minute text conversation.
- It says it's an AIAsk "are you a real person?" and it tells you.
Example
The onboarding
The first text starts a short setup conversation, and the first three drafts are free. After the third one, Compa texts a checkout link with the first month free. Check-ins and a Monday recap only start if the owner replies YES.
